Keeping a Watchful Eye Out SDO watched in extreme ultraviolet light as a fairly strong active region rotated across the center of the Sun over the course of four and a half days (July 23 ? 27, 2010). The looping arcs above this active region were in ever changing motion the entire time. There was lesser activity in numerous other areas across the Sun as well. Near the end of the clip another active region begins to appear around the Sun's edge. Perhaps this one will produce some "space weather."
